POM C (Polyoxymethylene copolymer) is a versatile material used in various applications, including mechanical engineering, automation, electronics and the food industry. Its combination of mechanical properties, chemical resistance and long-term performance makes it a widely used semi-finished product. In the food sector, it has become indispensable for mechanical parts and components resistant to stress and loads. Its low moisture absorption coefficient ensures dimensional stability even in humid environments, making it suitable for applications that require high electrical resistance. POM C has good thermal stability, allowing its use over a wide range of temperatures without significant degradation of its properties.

  • Compared to PA6, it has lower abrasion resistance, especially in dirty and dusty environments.
  • Not resistant to concentrated acids.
